Primus inter pares
means “first amongst equals”
Well, named it so mainly because this is the first post I made in 2009. Hopefully this will be the first among any other post(s) that will follow next time.
The year 2009 started with a hellish January for me. Some of you might know that I was the head of 2009 ITB power engineering excursion committe, I am eternally grateful for all of the participation given by various parties as to make this event held successfully. Thank you.
The event was fun, educative, and most of all memorable. Some of friends are to graduate next July, there’s a possibility that we wont be meeting each others for a while and maybe for a long time, so the excursion event was also purposedly intended for our last time “going out and hanging out” together as college students. Good luck guys, my prayers are with you.
January finally passed and then came along February. Ive’ been busy not because of academic or organizational causes but merely because the very existence of “FACEBOOK”. It completely changed my perspective. I created an account about last year, but this month was considered as my heaviest traffic in using fb. On a positive point of view, fb is way much better than other social networking sites, it is fun, informative, enjoyable and trusted, although recently some “alay’s” have also migrated to fb, and I personally disgust them, haha. But as any other matter in this world, thing does not always carry virtue. Fb as well, on a negative aspect is time-consuming with its fun, and I almost forgot my reasons for doing so. I forgot how fun and satisfying it is to post on my blog.
February is the month of my birthday, it was on 19th, thanks for all the wishes. February also marked as the life-changing decision of my life. I now dare to say that I want to go to France, to Supelec, I NEED TO. I am driven to pursue the engineering diplome, get a job as engineer at EDF for a while, get married to a beautiful and lovable yet respectable woman, and return to my home country as a well-recognized practitioner in the field of electrical power engineering.
So here we are in the verge of March, and now I have come to a decision on the title and topic of my final project. Its only initial though, things might change, but as for now, I propose the “Design of FACTS Robust Controller for Power Oscillation Damping using H∞ Loop-Shaping Method”
So if any of you guys’ve been missing me, here I am now. I present you, 2009.
